House of the Dragon season 1 episode 2 review

House of the Dragon keeps the legacy of Game of Thrones on and keeps impressing the audience with
strong writing and well acting.

The episode focuses on the King, the council suggests the King marry a new wife that should keep his reign strong and more complete, and for this purpose, Corlys offers his daughter so that he could make his side to the King more stable.

The King thinks about it but is confused because Corlys's daughter is only 12 years old, so it is pretty hard to accept the proposal. And marrying a girl who is even younger than his daughter is difficult because the King has no mind or instincts for a new marriage.

Daemon Targaryen keeps doing his mischief actions by inviting the King to his marriage he writes that he is going to marry his girlfriend who works as a whore and he also steals the egg that belonged to the King's late son which makes angry the King.

Rhayenera Targaryen proves herself when the council sends a team to bring back the egg which belonged to the King's late son and was stolen by the Daemon Targaryen, Rhayenera flies there and convinces her uncle with her sharp mind that he should return the egg and thus she gets successful in her task and proves herself more useful than she is expected to be.

The King announces that he is not going to marry the daughter of Corlys but rather than that he is going to marry the daughter of Otto's daughter Alicent who is a friend of Rhayenera and the decision makes angry Corlys.

At the end of the show, the betrayal game that we used to witness in House of the Dragon keeps going when Daemon Targaryen and Corlys join hands to do something against the King in the upcoming episodes.
